I love this empowering, sex positive album. It's the soundtrack to my summer as I relearn my approach to love and relationships. Songs range from upbeat and fun to melancholy and moving and are all quite relatable. Thank you for giving independent women a voice, Carsie! Love you.
Favorite track: Vim & Vigor.
Carsie's songs are playful, sexy, and unabashedly feminine. I love the songs Ravenous, Vim & Vigor, and The Animal I Am, that refute the shaming of girls and women who acknowledge their physical desires. Also the evocative descriptions of New Orleans in summer, with "magnolia trees pressing their perfume to the sky like a kiss to the mouth" and the city "doesn't sleep but she climbs into bed with a smile between her teeth". Keep on telling stories your way, Carsie!

All of my music is available for download, for any price you please. Why? Because music is not a commodity, and songs are not worth $.99. I made this because I wanted you to hear it. The question is, what's it worth TO YOU?
